FAQs

Q: Will the Atlas damage or leave marks on my instrument?

No. Atlas -C1 units are totally safe for all Stringed instruments . The only parts of the Atlas-C1 that will make contact with your instrument have protective surface treatments to protect the instruments finish. We use a High-Quality,finish-safe, 3mm Wool Felt lining on the Receiver , and a 7mm thick Leather Fret Pad on the Torque Cap stabilising foot that makes contact with the first fret. The spring steel foot extension has been designed to ensure that the leather pad resists compression and fanning -out for many many years of worry free use.

Pressure measuring with a FSR

Studies were conducted over a 4 year period that enabled us to determine what parameters were essential to the design goal ,those parameters were then tested and enhanced over and over . We streamlined those results and created a precission , one of a kind tool that is sleek, unobtrusive and designed to last a liftime.
