FAQs

Q: Will the Atlas damage or leave marks on my instrument?

Atlas C-1 units are completely safe for all stringed instruments. Only specific parts of the Atlas C-1 make contact with the instrument, each featuring protective surface treatments to safeguard the instrument's finish. The Receiver is lined with high-quality, finish-safe 3mm wool felt, while the Torque Cap stabilizing foot, which contacts the first fret, is equipped with a 7mm leather fret pad. The spring steel foot extension is designed to prevent compression and fanning out of the leather pad, ensuring years of worry-free use.
