Industrial Wool Felt Protective Lining
Atlas Attributes: The Receiver
The stainless steel Atlas C-1 receiver component accommodates neck widths up to 50mm and break angles from 10 to 28 degrees. These design dimensions ensure that the Atlas C-1 will fit nearly every (3-on-3) style headstock design, as well as many other headstock configurations, depending on the tuning machine layout. The receiver is lined with a high-quality, soft yet extremely durable wool felt lining, guaranteeing many years of reliable, mar-free service.

Guarding Your Investment Against the Inevitable
Everyone loves their guitars and for good reason—they bring us joy, happiness, and harmony. They are extensions of ourselves. But they are also fragile by design, with precision attributes that require continuous special care. The combined benefit of peace of mind and protective support far outweigh the initial small investment many times over. The current labor rate for a qualified luthier to perform a headstock re-glue and touch-up is between $400-$600! protect yours today. Unsure? click here

Proper Alignment
Proper Alignment and Positioning recommendation:
It's super fast and easy to attach the Atlas-C1 to any instrument. Recommendation: Depending on the tuning machine layout of a particular instrument , position the Atlas receiver as close as practical to the bottom two (E) string tuning machines , this will provide a wider range of protection by supporting a larger area of the vulnerable headstock neck junction.

Protective Leather Fret Pad
The Torque Cap: 7mm - 9/32" Thick Leather Fret Pad
The ultra thick 7mm protective leather fret pad is surrounded on three sides by raised mounting edges and secured with industrial adhesive, ensuring that even after many years of use, the pad will maintain its shape, not fan out, and remain solidly in place. If needed the 7mm Leather pad can easily be cut and reduced in size for a more customized fit.

Pressure Measuring with an FSR
Studies were conducted over a four-year period to determine the essential design parameters. These parameters were then tested and refined repeatedly. We streamlined the results to create a precision, one-of-a-kind tool that is sleek, unobtrusive, and designed to last a lifetime.

Lay Flat Screws
The two lay-flat securing screws make it easy to tighten the Atlas C-1 to the instrument and fold out of the way for convenience while in a case, on a stand, or in storage.
Note: The Atlas-C1 only needs to be finger-tightened until it is firmly attached and secured. Never apply excessive force or use other tightening tools with the Atlas-C1.
